94 Ukrainian peacemakers have departed for Kosovo

Ukrainian soldiers of joint Ukraine-Poland peacemaker battalion "UkrPolbat" of KFOR East brigade departed for Prishtina. It was done within the framework of rotation of contingent.
 
The part of military men has been already sent to Kosovo. The final stage of the operation is appointed on August 10, Defense Ministry press service reported.

"UkrPolbat" has serviced in KFOR operation since September 1, 1999. Ukrainian bases are situated in Brezovitsa and Raka towns. They serve in observation points; control the movement of population and guide churches and schools. Ukrainians also prevent drug smuggling and explosive trespassing.

President of Ukraine signed the resolution on construction of oil refinery plants and network of filling stations

The document has been signed with the purpose "of diversification of fuel supply, in particular, raw oil. It was done in order to make oil market stable and to protect it from crisis situations during the period of season price increase on oil. The main targets are following: to reach European standards of oil, to develop export potential of the field and to create additional employment and a real competition."

The leader of Socialist Party of Ukraine pointed out the mistakes of Orange power

Alexander Moroz the Socialist leader stated that Yushchenko -Timoshenko’s government did some not “crucial” but quite evident mistakes. He worded his attitude towards Orange power in the press conference in Lviv.   

According to his words, the evident mistakes are following: the oil crisis, the price policy, the revaluation of hrivnya and the sugar crisis.

He called governmental policy regulating the sugar crisis a kind of "speculation." "Such tricks were made even by previous regime. It is profitable to do by only some business structures," mentioned Moroz.
