China to invest 30 b USD in Ukrainian economy

The visit of the President Viktor Yanukovych to China summarized the three-year effort to establish a strategic partnership between the two countries. Agreements reached during the visit will attract about 30 billion USD of Chinese investment in the Ukrainian economy, the Information-Analytical Bulletin of the Cabinet of Ministers informs.
“The visit to China was a kind of summing up of the three year effort of President Viktor Yanukovych and his team to establish relations with China. It gave very significant results. We received investment from the Republic of China, signed about 15 documents, according to which Ukraine will receive about 30 billion USD in loans, investments and public-private partnership,”, Deputy Prime Minister Yuriy Boyko said.
According to political analysts, the visit of Ukrainian President to China has attracted the attention of the society and was extremely important for the economy of our country. “If we talk economy, we get a lot from the cooperation with China. Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has completed the opening of China as a full-fledged strategic partner of Ukraine,” Boyko said. 
According to government analysts, joint projects of countries directly concern citizens of Ukraine. In particular, affordable housing, coal gasification factories, Air Express project, reconstruction of the coal industry, agriculture, construction of the port in the Crimea.
