PR says it not intends to outbid Kravchuk

MP Vasyl Kravchuk, expelled today from the Batkivshchyna faction, is a deputy of ideological conviction, and the Party of Regions did not make any attempts to outbid him, leader of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

“The accusation of the opposition against us is the limit of cynicism. Actually, I know MP Kravchuk well, we worked with him in the regulations committee of the last convocation. He has strong ideological convictions and I am surprised by what is happening in the Batkivshchyna faction now,” Yefremov said.

According to him, it looks like replacing the deputies from the Batkivshchyna Party with those, who were members of the Yatseniuk-led Front Zmin Party before.

“They shouldn’t hide behind the fact that someone outbids someone. This is the height of cynicism, it is not true, it is outright lie. This is lack of respect, first of all, for colleagues in the faction,” Yefremov said.
