Israel citizens not want leave country

Ashdod, an important regional industrial center in Israel, has been attacked by fire, Ashdod Borislava Pelz-Mikhaylishin told ForUm in exclusive commentary.
In particular, she said that Hamas continues launching rockets at Ashdod, which is the sixth-largest city in Israel, located on the Mediterranean coast, thirty kilometers south of Tel Aviv.
“The situation is really serious. They are on target. Now they run 5-10 missiles at a time. Piece of the “hail” fell on the house. We have 10-20 sirens every day. However we do not want to leave the country, as this is what they strive,” the Israeli said.

Boiko: Ukraine ready participate in Southern Gas Corridor pipeline project

Energy and coal industry minister of Ukraine Yuri Boiko said that Ukraine intends to take part in the Southern Gas Corridor pipeline project, under which Caspian gas will be delivered to Europe.
The minister stressed that Ukraine considers the implementation by Russia the South Stream project as a problem for the Ukrainian gas transportation system, but taking measures to pump their GTS with Caspian gas.
“The South Stream project is a problem for us, because if it is implemented it will take volumes from our GTS. However yesterday I held talks in Turkey on the possibility of our participation in the Southern Gas Corridor project – transporting gas from Azerbaijan through Turkey to Europe. We have already applied an official request to the Shah Deniz consortium, which shows the benefits of our transportation system. Here we have a policy of transporting gas through our GTS and our storage facilities to Europe. Therefore, the Russian colleagues has its own policy, and we have our own policy on this issue,” Boiko said.

FFU searching Ukraine football team head coach

Management of the Football Federation of Ukraine continues searching candidates for the post of head coach of the national team, head of the Federation Anatoly Konkov informed.
According to him, the FFU had a frank and constructive conversation with Andriy Shevchenko. “We are sympathetic to the fact that Andriy is not ready to become a head coach. But the Federation does not exclude other forms of cooperation with Shevchenko,” Konkov said.
“At the same time the FFU management is still searching candidates for the post of head coach of the national team. Tomorrow the management will hold the meeting to discuss strategic issues related to the situation. The final decision will be taken by the executive committee of the FFU,” he said.
Federation President also expressed his confidence the best decision for the team will be taken.

ACU to monitor Kyivkhlib

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine will carefully control the implementation of the recommendations to reduce the bread price, state commissioner of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine Mykhailo Rusynsky told a briefing.
As the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine press service informs, the Kyivkhlib bakery company has reduced the wholesale prices for two kinds of bread in response to the recommendations of the Kyiv regional branch of the Committee
State commissioner noted that the Committee will review the price reduction and whether it will meet the requirements of competition law.
In addition, Rusynsky said that the Committee will control over retailers to reduce prices for the specified products.

CEC registers first 46 MPs

The Central Election Commission has registered 43 MPs from the Party of Regions and three self-nominees. The relevant decisions have been taken at the CEC meeting.
In particular, registration has been received by 25 deputies, who ran on the party list of the Party of Regions, including Mykola Bahraev ( 51), Tariel Vasadze ( 36), Kateryna Vashchuk ( 45), Oleksandr Yefremov ( 5), Oleh Zarubinskyi ( 38), Yuri Ivanyushchenko ( 24), Anatoly Kinah ( 59).
In addition, there have registered Pavlo Korzh ( 66), Oleksandr Kuzmuk ( 43), Volodymyr Rybak ( 10), Hryhoriy Smityukh ( 49), Vitaly Homutynnik ( 23), Ihor Sharov ( 16), and others.
 
The CEC has registered 18 deputies, who ran from the Party of Regions in single-mandate constituencies. In particular, there have been registered Vitaly Zhuravsky (constituency 66, Zhytomyr region), Oleksandr Onishchenko (constituency 93, Kyiv region), Yuliy Ioffe (constituency 112, Luhansk region), Iryna Berezhna (constituency 169, Kharkiv region), Iryna Horina (constituency 179, Kharkiv region).
Registration has been obtained by the PR members Dmytro Svyatash (constituency 170, Kharkiv region), Oleksandr Feldman (constituency 174, Kharkiv region), Anton Yatsenko (constituency 200, Chernihiv region) and Vadym Kolesnichenko (constituency 225, Sevastopil).
In addition, the CEC has registered three deputies, who were self-nominated in single-mandate constituencies, including Ihor Rybakov (constituency 207, Chernihiv region), Ivan Kurovskiy (constituency 209, Chernihiv region) and Viktor Razvadovsky (constituency 67, Zhytomyr region.).

Cabinet to reconcile macroeconomic indicators with IMF

First vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Valeriy Khoroshkovsky said that the government wants to reconcile macroeconomic indicators set in the budget 2013 with the International Monetary Fund in particular.
According to Khoroshkovsky, “to date, the government has some questions about the macroeconomic indicators, and that is the question we want to have a common vision on, with our IMF creditors in particular,” he said.
“As soon as the budget is prepared and the Finance Ministry submits it to the government, we will approve it, and it will be submitted to the Parliament,” Khoroshkovsky said.
He reminded that the draft budget was submitted to Parliament within the terms defined by the Constitution, but then it was returned to the Government of Ukraine.

The parties paid a special attention to the issue on ensuring of reliable transit of the Russian gas to Europe during the autumn-winter period.
They also discussed a number of issues on strategic cooperation between two countries in the gas sector.

Energy market reform should not infringe people

The electricity market should have a fair competition and equal rights of players, MP from the Party of Regions Ihor Hlushchenko said at the round table “Reforming of the electricity market in Ukraine,” ForUm correspondent reports. According to him, the bill “On principles of electricity market functioning of Ukraine” requires such changes.
The expert continued that the document conforms not only to the President’s program of economic reforms for 2010-14, but to the article 2 of the protocol on Ukraine’s accession to the Energy Community.
According to Hlushchenko, “this law will finally resolve the problematic points of energy market and allow its participants to strengthen their economic performance taking into account the interests of population. And we offer to create a value imbalance distribution fund by two companies “Energoatom” and “Ukrenergo”.
The MP hopes that the bill will be considered and adopted by the Parliament this week.
