Part of Kyiv left without hot water because of debts

Public Joint Stock Company “Kyivenerho” says that on July 23 the gas supply organization limited amounts of gas supply to the Heat Electric generation Plant 6, which made impossible the continuation of the hot water supply after the hydraulic testing of heating systems in Dniprovsky, Desnianskyi and Obolon districts of the capital.

According to the Kyivenerho PJSC, the negotiations with the gas suppliers and municipal authorities on the resumption of gas supply to the Heat Electric generation Plant-6 continues. The reason for limiting supply, according to the explanation of the Kyivenerho officials, is the debts for the consumed gas. The Kyivenerho will be able to pay it off as soon as the budget will receive compensation for the difference between the established tariffs for thermal energy and the cost of its production.

The pilot-navigator of the helicopter detachment Lt. Col. Mukhailo Shur shared his impressions of the peacekeeping mission.
“It is my third mission to the African continent.- he said. – At this time I was lucky to be in Liberia during the dry season. The previous two missions, which passed in the rainy season, were more severe. We had only one consolation: our technique worked perfectly. However, the targets were saturated: to be in the air for 5-6 hours a day, sometimes more,” he said.

Cabinet to use electronic document management in autumn

This year the Cabinet will adopt an electronic interaction among the government authorities in October, the head of the State Agency on Science, Innovation and Informatization of Ukraine Volodymyr Semynozhenko said at a briefing, as ForUm correspondent reports.

“In October we will completely abandon papers. There will be no delay in preparation of the government decisions and their implementations. This is a very important step for the government’s efficiency and its public image,” Semynozhenko told about the initiative “Open government”.

According to him, the transition to the electronic communication will “kill two birds with one stone.”

“We will save a lot of paper. This will cover all costs spent on creation of the e-government. The electronic document management will help to prevent corruption, when someone wants to speed up or, conversely, slow down the signatures under certain documents,” he said.

Ukrainian Olympians to have another standard nutrition

In Ukraine the standard nutrition will be changed for athletes participating in the Olympic Games, the first deputy head of the State Service of Youth and Sports Serhiy Hlushenko said at a briefing.

“First of all we worry about nutrition. It is not normal to allocate 205 UAH per day for a 50 kg gymnast and a 100 kg fighter. The standards will be different,” Hlushenko said.

According to him, the State Service has already developed new standards.

“At a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, we have protocoled these figures. We believe that new regulations in kilocalories, not in monetary equivalent will be adopted,” he summed up.

Prysiazhniuk: Ukrainian farmers to refuse state backing

Ukrainian farmers are ready to refuse state backing because of the large number of inspections, agricultural policy and food minister of Ukraine Mykola Prysiazhniuk told a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers, ForUm correspondent reports.

“We compensated $300 million UAH for the loss of winter crops. This decision was taken by the Cabinet. Moreover, we extended the request period for several times. Initially, the compensation request could have been till April 25, then till May 4 and then to May 15,” Prysiazhniuk reminded.
However, he confirmed that the farmers refused such an opportunity.

“Farmers became more careful with state subsidies, especially with such small as 150 UAH, since a lot of inspections follow this money. AS of today, the preparation of the necessary documents is simplified and their overall number is reduced,” the minister said.

He also reminded that the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych instructed security forces to minimize the inspections “especially when there is no need for them”.
