Prosecutor General: Ukrainians are not racists

Prosecutor General: Ukrainians are not racists

There are no racism threats in Ukraine, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Pshonka told a  press conference in Kyiv.

The Prosecutor General mentioned there have been only individual cases of racial offences committed. He said the delinquents have already faced the trial. However, he has not specified the articles the criminal proceedings were initiated under.

According to Pshonka, all the publications on this topic, particularly those appearing in the Western media, are biased.

As a reminder, the statement of the former English national team players referring to the racism problems in Ukraine have recently appeared in the British press.

The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine called such statements baseless and declared the Ukrainians were being discredited on the eve of the championship.
