Tymoshenko advanced the last ultimatum to Yushchenko

Tymoshenko advanced the last ultimatum to Yushchenko

If the democratic coalition is kept, Yulia Tymoshenko will be ready to support Yushchenko at the next Presidential Election. She told about at the press-conference for the central and regional mass-media.

“If the democratic coalition is kept, I am ready to support “the well-known candidate for the post of Proesident” for the next term,” she promised.

The Prime Minister stressed that as for today there are three ways out from the situation formed in Ukraine. the first iof them is renovating of the democratic coalition. “This way belongs to the President, as it is him who destroyed the Coalition, not the “hand of the Kremlin”, she noted.

She believes that renewal of the coalition is the only correct way out.

At the same time the Prime Minister stressed that she is absolutely against early elections. “It will  be the worst possibility. The early elections… will change the situation not to good of the democratic coalition,” the Prime Minister told.

According to Yu. Tymoshenko, without early elections or renewal of the coalition the only way out will be possible. It is reformatting of the Coalition in a way giving possibility for the VRU to work and have 350 votes for implementing a normal constitutional model in Ukraine.

Tymoshenko asked the President to renew the democratic coalition.

Snap poll is the worst way to solve political crisis – Tymoshenko

The worst way to solve the political crisis in Ukraine is a snap parliamentary poll. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko claimed this to a press conference in Kyiv on Monday.

At the same time, Yulia Tymoshenko stressed that she believes this variant is worse than the variant that implies creating a new format of coalition.

According to her, a snap poll “will bury any hope to implement the course that we declared… It will put an end to the power of the democratic coalition”, she claimed, adding that it is irresponsible to lead the country into a snap poll.

The Prime Minister believes that the best variant is to resume the activities of the democratic coalition. According to her, it is up to the President to implement this variant.

“Became it was namely he who destroyed, he took his team out of the democratic coalition, and he forbids to hold talks on its restoration today”, the Prime Minister stressed.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko claims she has received a summons to appear in the Prosecutor’s General Office on September 11, PM told journalists today.

“As of today, as a result of all these actions [the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) turned to PGO to investigate into facts of high treason as if committed by the Prime Minister – UNIAN], they promptly opened cases against the head of my secretariat, against the head of my service, against the Prime Minister, against a large number of people working in the government”, she said.

The Prime Minister also stressed that after President’s Chief of Staff Victor Baloha accused her of high treason, she was put under round-the-clock surveillance.

“I’ve been shadowed twenty-four-hour for many months already after all those terrible statements. I don’t have any immunity. As of today, many of my conversations have been bugged, which confirms all these actions”, Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.

According to her, she also has got information that deputies of the Prosecutor General were put under pressure for they bring a criminal case against the Prime Minister.

At the same time, she stressed that she “was, is, and will be in the democratic coalition”.
