PR renews negotiations on formation of wide coalition

Party of Regions initiates renewal of negotiation on formation of wide coalition. PR member Taras Chornovil said that today at the press conference in Kyiv.

“Taking into consideration that first step on formation of “orange” coalition is failed, we consider it is dangerous to wait for the second or third attempt. That’s why we initiate renewal of negotiations,” Chornovil said.

At the same time he noted that official negotiations had not started yet. “Maybe we will be told: we will play 3-4 times in voting for Tymoshenko or maybe we will be told: lets start negotiating officially.,” he noted.

According to Chornovil, Party of Regions did not receive any answer on renewal of negotiations on wide coalition. BYuT does not agree with it because presidential elections are soon. However, many BYuT members speak in the lobby about possible coalition with PR.

Chornovil opined that people would accept unity of PR with BYuT better that PR with OU-PSD as the last in the row is very discredited in people’s eyes.
