Nikolay Tomenko is dying to take back his “old chair” in the Cabinet

He revealed his secret dream in the press conference in Lutsk. He is not averse to take office of the Vice-Premier for Humanitarian Affairs.

“The political force-winner of the elections-2006 will form a coalition and a government. It will also represent a candidacy of the PM to President of Ukraine who must sign it in fifteen days otherwise the coalition will do it by itself. The same political force will form the government considering the PM’s propositions. The President may appoint only military ministers and the Prosecutor General. The government will appoint all local heads of executive power,” reported Tomenko. So, the President will have less power than the PM will do. It will happen due to new Constitution.

He also pointed to the fact that the Party of Regions (Yanukovich) takes the first place in the rate of Ukrainian political forces; BYT (Timoshenko) is the second one and NSNU (Yushchenko) – the third one.

“We would like them (semimanufactures) to be used in Ukraine.”
