The Czech Republic to introduce the payment-free visa regime for Ukrainians

Czech prime minister, Jiri Paroubek, stated that his country would make visa granting for Ukrainians free of charge. It was one of the results of the negotiations in Poland between Ukrainian premier, Julia Timoshenko, and her Czech colleague, Radio Freedom reported.

According to Paroubek’s words, the payment-free visa regime will be introduced in the next year.


We remind that Julia Timoshenko made a working visit to Poland and conducted the meetings with the prime ministers of Visegrad Four (Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungury).

“Disgusting business” in Ukraine

Ukrainian deputy, Leonid Chervonetsky, introduced the draft "On additions to several acts of Ukraine (criminalization of human embryo trade)."

Substantiating the necessety of passing this act Chernovetsky mentioned that the last time Mass media of different countries often published about embryo trade abroad from Ukraine.   

Mass media reported that the embryo tissues were export from Kharkov, Donetsk and Kiev. And moreover, Ukrainian doctors unconvincingly denied this fact. The deputy mentioned that the USA and all civilized states prohibited such disgusting trade.

Chervonetsky also pointed to the fact that Ukrainian act on transplantation was very good and quite stringent. But there was a lack of clear prohibition of embryo tissues trade in it. The same is in the article 143 of Criminal Code of Ukraine. So, there are all prerequisites for the further development of this horrible "bussines" in Ukraine. The draft proposed by Chervonetsky is dedicated to be a legal border for that, "UNIAN" reported.

The International Children Festival in Crimea

On July 15 – August 4, the International Children Festival will take place in "Artek," reported the chief of charitable Foundation Hope and Kindness, Valentina Dovzhenko.

According to her words, it will be the fifth festival. "There were children from four states taking part in the first festival, now we will meet the children from 25 states," mentioned Dovzhenko.

"We are glad that, despite the changes in political situation, there are people who support talented children, orphans and families of scanty means," added Dovzhenko.

Besides, she pointed to the fact that she is the leader of political union "Women for the future."

Unprecedented hooliganism in Sumy

The Rehabilitation Center of children-invalids has been fired on in Sumy. It was damaged the windows of director’s cabinet and isolator, the window of children-bus. Fortunately, nobody suffered.

In the accident place police officials found deform bullets, which are used for air rifle. The night sniper has been detained.

On the eve, Center’s employees saw a man with a gun, who was choosing a target. Nobody could even imagine that the place, where children with central nervous system affection are treated, would become the target.

A criminal case has been instituted on the fact of hooliganism. The firing-lover faces imprisonment for 3-7 years.

Putin and Yushchenko discussed gas problem

Ukrainian president, Viktor Yushchenko, and Russian president, Vladimir Putin, discussed the problem of Ukraine-Russia relations in the gas industrial sphere. The telephone conversation between two presidents was on Friday, the press service of Russian president informed.

There were discussions on different topics of international and regional co-operation in the course of the conversation, "Gazeta.ru" reported.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs to think about constant free visa regime for EC citizens

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is going to propose the Cabinet and Ukrainian president, Viktor Yushchenko, to establish constant visa-free regime for Switzerland and EC countries, the minister of foreign affairs, Boris Tarasuk, reported to journalists.

"The number of EC citizens visiting Ukraine increased tries. It will be a basis for establishing of visa-free regime," said Tarasuk, "Tribuna" reported.

According to his words, the experiment undertaking from May 1 to September 1 (the visa-free regime) let the Ministry of Foreign affairs analyze how it might cause the visiting Ukraine by foreigners. The period was the most favorable for the experiment; it means that as more as possible citizens of Switzerland and EC could visit Ukraine.
