Elected moderator of For-ua in a corrupt election in 2006. His opponent was banned from participating in the election and for-ua for the duration of the election campaign only to be reinstated after the election for moderator. (It gets no more corrupt then that) Thomas was elected on a majority of one vote and his term is indefinite.
This site, For-UA Alternative Review, was setup in response to Thomas’s ongoing attempts to silence his critics and deny free speech whilst pushing his campaign of hate towards Russia.
Thomas Martinez, aided and abetted by others associated with him, has intimidated, threatened or banned those who held or expressed an opposing political opinion to For-ua’s moderators. Most notable was Angela who was banned after a vicious attack of abuse and insults leveled at her. Abuse, insults and threats, that Tomas and other moderators sat back and selectively ignored and at times encouraged. When Angela responded in kind, with a rather mild abusive comment, Tomas was quick to use this as an excuse to have her banned. He has since done likewise to any other participants.
Thomas also banned the user Green Tea who’s comments were not offensive but very critical of the political point of view pushed by Mr Thomas Martinez. No warnings, no indication as to why or on the basis of any substantial complaint – a complete denial of natural justice.
Tomas Martinez is a manager working for Bellsouth (A subsidiary of AT&T) based in Florida USA. His use of AT&T resources to promote his hate campaign of Russia is now a subject of review by Management of AT&T. Tomas has and continues to publish comments that threaten and intimidate people from contributing to the general debate on Ukraine. As a result of Thomas’s actions the quality of information and debate on the for-ua.com has significantly declined and become extremely bias and is now recognised as a site perpetuating and inciting hatred and vilification towards Russia.

As a result of Mr Martinez abuse for-ua.com has slumped in ratings and is no longer considered to be a prime news site on Ukraine.
Tom Martinez, having brought for-ua.com into disrepute by perpetrating numerous personal attacks and abuse on various contributors (all who held an a opposing political point of view who were subsequently by banning from participating in the public debate), has since left for-ua.com. He has set up his own English Ukraine News Website where he and those who agree with his right wing fascist opinions continue their ongoing bias and vilification. This time their attacks are aimed at Yulia Tymoshenko who they see as being the new enemy. He still continues to drop in an incites the odd abuse and attacks (most notably against his former partner, Gene Nelson, who has since fallen out with each other) Gene Nelson has quit on more then two occasisona as a result of the tiff between them.
Bride Hunter
Tomas Martinez like Jeff Mowatt and Terry Hallman first visited Ukraine looking for a wife. reaching 60 and facing retirement this aging disc jockey travelled to Ukraine on a bride hunting tour and settled on Odessa and Ismail as his honey pot. he has finally found a willing wife who he hopes to take back to the USA to see out his twilight years. Of course he has not much to do so he continues to particpate in the abuse and attacks he has grown to love so much.
Lord of the flies
Martinez who found himself in disagreement and on the outer when the Tymoshenko and Yushenko split of 2008 occured in true Lord of the flies fashion left For-ua.com to set up his own camp Ukrainian English news where he post as Admin. Of course there is no abuse on his site as only pro Yushchenko supporters are allowed. Martinez matins an attack on all those who oppose Yushchenko from his bunker including abuse aimed at respected analyst and political commentator Taras Kuzio.
Martinez return to for-Ua.com to try and promote his own web site and incite abuse and friction whilst sticking it into the Tymoshenko supporters. His latest victims is poor Gene Nelson who felt compelled to complain about his abuse and threatened to resign a second time.
Martinez’s modus operandi is to abuse people and when they respond complain about their abuse. Peter Crosby never hold Martinez to account or to the same standard as he applies to others. If he did Crosby would have banned Martinez long ago.
