Iralco closed Ukrainian branch

As a result of the closure of Sambor (Lviv region) branch of the car parts manufacturer Iralco 80 workers have lost their jobs.
Unstable economic and political situation in Ukraine influenced the Irish investor and forced his to liquidate the enterprise and take out the equipment. Talks between the mayor and management of the company could not influence the decision.

The joint Ukrainian-Irish enterprise Iralco-Ukraine was opened in 2006. Iralco produces components for some of Europe‘s best-known car manufacturers, including Audi, BMW, Ford, Seat, Volvo and Jaguar.
