Exit-poll results are publicizedAccording to data of consortium of “National exit-poll-2007” during early parliamentary elections on September 30: -Party of Regions got 35.2% or votes; -BYuT -31.5%; -“Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense” bloc – 13.4%; -CPU – 5.1%; -Lytvyn bloc – 3.7%; - SPU – 2.5%; -Party of Progressive socialists (Vitrenko) – 1.5%; -against everybody -13.4%. According to data of exit-poll held by Center of social and political researches “Sotsiovymir” during early parliamentary elections on September 30 five political forces will get the parliament: -Party of Regions got 34.7% or votes; -BYuT -31.1%; -“Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense” bloc – 14.6%; -CPU – 4.9%; -Lytvyn bloc – 3.6%; According to data of exit-poll held by TSN Ukraine, ordered by TV company ICTV, during early parliamentary elections on September 30 five political forces will get the parliament: -Party of Regions got 34.9% or votes; -BYuT -32.4%; -“Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense” bloc – 14.1%; -CPU – 4.5%; -Lytvyn bloc – 3.5%. Tsushko sent in resignationVasyl Tsushko took a decision on his resignation from Interior Minister position because of worsening of his health state. Konstantyn Stogny head of Interior Ministry department on public relations informed about such decision, the ForUm’s correspondent informs. “Interior Minister has taken decision on resignation before elections results announcement because his health is getting worse and he does not want to be a formal Minister,” Stogny said. |

CEC: Elections are recognizedDeputy head of CEC Zhanna Usenko-Chernaya congratulated Ukrainian people on elections recognition, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.According to her, more than 58.15% of voters have already participated in voting process, according to 159 out of 225 election districts. She noted that taking into consideration percentage of voters, there is no threat concerning recognition of early parliamentary elections illegal. At the same time she noted that polling stationТИК №174 has not started work. She expressed hope that citizens who did not manage to vote at this polling station, are able to vote at other polling stations. |

Voters activity has increased by 57.53%
Activity of Ukrainian electors has increased by 57.53%, according to preliminary data at 20.p.m. Such data are presented on CEC indicator board.
According to CEC data, the most active is Vinnytsa region -65% . High presence of voters is also observed in Chernihiv (60%), Khmelnitska (57), Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzha (56%) regions.
In total, there are 225 election districts in Ukraine. Elections are considered taken place in case more than 50% of electors have voted. Otherwise there must be re-elections.
As to data at 12.00, attendance of voters comprised 21.55%, at 16.p.m. – 43%.
In total 35 987 831 persons are included in election lists.

Policeman has died at polling station
33 years old police man who provided order at polling station N158 in the city of Chernukhy in Poltava region has died today.
“He felt bad and he got to his car. He died at 18.05,” head of the public relations center of Interior Ministry Yury Sulayev informed.
According to him, every polling station in Poltava region has two policemen to proved order during elections. Fellow worker was a witness of the death.
Investigation is being held.

Lutsenko voted "for young and powerful" (photo)
“Leader of “Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense” bloc Yury Lutsenko has voted at election districts 101/ “It was a very tense but important election campaign,” he summed up an election process by request of journalists.
Lutsenko did not hide that he had voted for his own political bloc “for young and powerful politicians”. Lutsenko considers that three main political forces will definitely form the parliament and does not exclude that there will be one more political force in a new parliament.

SBU confirms fact of bribery of electors in Kirovohrad region
Representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Prosecutor’s Office received confirmation of electors’ bribery in Kirovohrad region in the course of revision of the information.
According to SBU press service, the Security Service received appeal of one of political force on bribe of electors. The information turned to be true.
The Prosecutor’s Office is going to make a proper procedural decision at the moment.
According to the “Our Ukraine – People’s Self-Defense” press service, chairman of Kirovohrad regional OU – PSD headquarters Eduard Zeinalov stated that representative of the Socialists party, deputy of country council in Veselyi Kut Viktor Andriychenko proposed 50 UAH for each vote for the SPU.
According to Zeinalov, representatives of the Security Service have recorded the fact of the bribery and appealed to the Prosecutor’s Office of Kirovohrad region.

First results of elections will be announced in the main square of Kyiv.
In Maydan Nezalezhnosti new stage is being set for announcement of first results of elections.
There are some blue tents in Maydan Nezalezhnosti but no agitation production of this or that political force. Situation in Kyiv is calm. The main street Kreshchatyk is full of Kyivers, walking around and enjoying real autumn weather.

Yanukovych arrived in election headquarters
Leader of Party of Regions Viktor Yanukovych has arrived in election headquarters of PR, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
Today Viktor Yanukovych, having voted, held a meeting with foreign observers. Then he together with his wife and a son attended one of the churches of Kyiv-Pechersk Laura.
At midnight Yanukovych will give a press conference in PR election headquarters.
