Oil prices will be fluctuating

The director of "Naftogaz Ukraine" natonal joint-stock company, Aleksey Ivchenko, stated that oil retail price-wave will be about 3% in June.  

He mentioned that Ukraine had overcome oil crisis. Ukrainian oil-refining plants are provided with necessary volume of resources and there is large volumes of clear oil imported in Ukraine, "Interfax-Ukraine" reported.

Ivchenko pointed to the fact that in June "Naftogaz Ukraine" will provide the customers with Byelorussian, Baltic, Serbian and Croatian petrol of A-92 and A-95 grades of fuel. Its total volume will be equal to 100,000 t.

The director added also that  there will be high-octane petrol surplus expected in June. That is why there will probably be a reduction of 3% of that grade of fuel price.

Timoshenko induced Akhmetov

Ukraine prime minister, Julia Timoshenko, stated in Tbilisi that Kazakh prime minister, Danial Akhmetov, proved his interest in completion of oil pipeline "Odessa-Brody."

Commenting on bilateral meeting with Kazakh colleague, Timoshenko said "Today Kazakh national and private energetic companies expressed their true interest in collaboration in project ‘Odessa-Brody’ oil pipeline. It was clear economic interest containing no political context. The working group is going to create all necessary conditions for such collaboration."


Timoshenko said also about construction new oil-refining plants and oil and gas mining on Kazakh and Ukrainian territories, "UNIAN" reported.

Ukrainian National Bank (UNB) obliged “bankers” to have higher education

UNB sent a telegram to Ukrainian banks. It said that the chiefs of bank sections transporting the values had to be graduated from economic, technical or legal departments of universities or institutes, "Obkom" reported.

UNB obliged the banks to have their own operative or armoured transport for the values transition and also their own protective gear, such as helmets and body armours.

Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine liberated tax system

The parliament of Ukraine passed the draft "About changes of several acts of Ukraine." The draft is directed on the saving of reduced taxation and prevention of taxpayers from transition to the seamy side of economic sector, the deputy chief of the Committee for Finance and Bank Activity, Vitaly Khomutynnyk, reported.

The draft was applied by the deputies of Ukraine, K.Lyapina, V.Khomutynnyk and V.Musiyaka.

The draft cancelled the obligatory added-value tax for the single tax payers which have total sum of income to be more than 300,000UAH ($60,000). The act "About tax of private person income" was also cancelled by the draft. It means that the private entrepreneur providing services or undertaking works for more than one month does not have to pay 13% of his income (he was equal to hired worker) additionally to the single tax.  

The reduced system will be also apllied to the following kinds of activity: real estate, architecture, audit, legal assistance and pharmaceutics.

The draft will regulate the added-value tax for turist companies.

The government wants to protect young people from racism and pornography

Journalists of web-media were proposed to initiate the creation of legislative base for web-media existence, the press secretary of Ukrainian president, Irina Gerashchenko, said on the press-conference.
 
"The web-newspapers exist de facto but not de jure. They are interesting. They influence society and have their own audience," said Gerashchenko.

The deputy state secretary of Ukraine, Markiyan Lubkivsky, called the problem of legislative base for web resources the very difficult point.

"The question of legislation of web must be thoroughly examined and discussed by the society and Mass-Media. The ways and methods of legislation should be defined," said Lubkivsky.

"We do not speak about control on information sphere. We just want to protect our children from porno, xenophobia, racism and international strife," added he.

How much does the president’s web-page cost?

According to the president’s press secretary, Irina Herashchenko, the design of the updated version of Victor Yushchenko’s web-page had cost the Presidential Secretariat 17 thousand UAH. She also said that the design was developed by “Fabrica” firm through which the group of programmers collaborated, MIGnews.com.ua reported.

The same company was charged with the web-design for political parties’ block "Our Ukraine" and "the 5th channel" TV-company.

Since 13 May the official presidential home page is http://www.president.gov.ua
